Q:	What is Clear-Coat made of?
A:	Clear-Coat is made from urethane film, a clear and scratch-resistant material, less than 1/100th of an inch thick with an adhesive backing. Urethane films are used on cars, airplanes and boats to prevent the finish from wearing.

Q:	Will Clear-Coat hurt my device?
A:	Quite the contrary! We made Clear-Coat so that it would be able to protect your devices from just about anything! The adhesive we use is semi-permanent, meaning that it is difficult to remove by accident, but easy to remove if you wish. So your gear is safe!

Q:	If I put Clear-Coat on my device, will it change the appearance and feel?
A:	Only slightly - at 1/100th of an inch thick, it certainly isn\'t bulky, and most people can\'t even see it once it\'s applied! The film is shiny, though, so what you\'ll notice is that matte finishes look shinier, and shiny surfaces look so good, it\'s like they just came out of a showroom. Since we started applying Clear-Coat to cell phones over a year ago, we\'ve never gotten a single complaint that the film made their device look bad.

Q:	Does Clear-Coat make my device waterproof or shockproof?
A:	No, unfortunately, it does not. Water can still get in the seams - while Clear-Coat covers much of your phone, it is impossible to cover 100% of a device, and all its seams. Same goes with shockproof - Clear-Coat is incredibly thin, so dropping your device will still cause a shock to the system.....but when you pick it up, you\'ll probably notice the Clear-Coat stopped it from getting nicks and scratches.
