User Agreement
In using the personaldigital.com.au shopping services, of Personal Digital. you (The User) are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions listed below. Personal Digital. reserves the right to add, delete, alter or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The User is therefore advised to read carefully these terms and conditions each time he or she uses the shopping service(s) of Personal Digital.
Personal Digital reserves the right to accept or reject your order. The agreement between you and the personaldigital.com.au shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:-
Shipping:
If your item is in stock, we usually ship same day (for orders before 10am) or then the next business day.
If your item/s is not in stock, we shall contact you (usually within 12-24 hours) with a expected shipping date. If the revised delivery timeframes are not acceptable to you, we are happy to provide you with a full refund.
We use DHL / Australia Post (within Aus) and Fedex (for International) shipments. The shipping costs for Australian orders start at AUD 4.50 and will be calculated as you add items to the shopping cart.
We do not calculate insurance costs on orders, please enquire if you wish to have an order insured. . The buyer is liable for any loss / damage of goods during shipping. We do not ship to Africa or Indonesia.
Payment:
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit Card (processed securely through eWay Gateway)
- Cash on Pickup
- Bank Transfer / Deposit
Goods will be shipped only once Payment has been cleared.
We may request, at our discretion, for proof of identity and / or address to which the shipment is being delivered. This may be required if the shipment is an overseas one and / or the Merchant Provider provides approval under 'Honour with Identification' terms.

When purchasing from Personal Digital your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard. Prices:
While we try to ensure that all details (including prices) displayed on this web site are correct and up to date, we cannot guarantee that they are. We do, however, update this web site as frequently as possible.
All products and/or services displayed on this web site are subject to availability. We will advise you if a product or service is unavailable.
All prices are subject to change at any time up to the time the order is shipped. If a price is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide you with the option of either cancelling the order or to continue with the order at the corrected price.
For shipments sent OUTSIDE Australia we are not liable for Import / Customs or any other duties charged by your country.
Product Sourcing:
We import our products officially, GST and Duties paid, and provide you with a Tax Invoice on purchase.
Refunds, Returns and DOA:
All handsets / laptops / cameras come with a 12 month warranty (unless specified differently), which is included in the purchase price. It is possible to purchase extended warranty on your item making it a total of 24 months warranty. Please contact us before you purchase the product and we let you know if we can provide this service and the costs involved (usually $49 - $129 depeding on the product).
WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER AND FOR HOW LONG?
The Warranty Period from the date of purchase by the first end user.
The item may consist of several different parts, covered by different Warranty Periods. Twelve (12) months for the mobile handsets; six (6) months for consumable parts and accessories, including batteries, chargers, headsets, cables, media on which any software is provided, for example memory card.
The Warranty is NOT transferable with subsequent resale of the item. Repaired parts will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period, or for the sixty (60 days) from the date of repair, whichever is longer.
HOW DO I CLAIM FOR WARRANTY
Australian Stock:
For products with ‘Australian Warranty’, please send or take to your local authorized repairer. Australian Warranty can be repaired at any authorized repairer for that specific brand. For example, if you purchase a Nokia mobile phone with ‘Australian Stock’ listed in the item descrption, you can return it to any authorized Nokia repairer. Please take a copy of your receipt and any other relevant documents.
Overseas Stock:
For all other items please contact us for an RMA (return authority number) after which you can drop off / send the item to us in Sydney using a reliable shipping company that offers tracking (at your own expense) for repair. Please note that the buyer is solely liable for any shipment lost-in-transit if the appropriate shipment method is not used.
Please allow up to 7 - 14 Business days for the product to be repaired or replaced*. The warranty covers products that are purchased directly from Personal Digital and for defects that meet the Manufacturer's warranty guidelines. Please do not send us anything until we ask you to do so. We will forward the item to the Manufacturer's repair centre at no cost to you and will notify you once the item has been repaired and received back. We will then ship the item back to you and NO COST to you, or you can pick it up from our sydney office. *This is an average timeframe only. Some repairs may take longer depending on circumstance.
Replacement policy: If goods sold by Personal Digital are found to be DOA or faulty "out of the box", you must inform us with 48 hours of receipt of the item. You may return the item to Personal Digital and we will send you free replacement provided that we have verified the fault. The goods should reach Personal Digital strictly within 7 calendar days from invoice date, the date the goods were originally shipped out to you.
Our Privacy Policy:
At Personal Digital, we are committed to protecting the privacy of all our customers. Personal Digital does not sell, rent any personal information of its customers to any third party. Your personal details addresses etc are held with utmost care and security. This information is collected primarily to ensure that we are able to fulfill your orders and to deliver to you without any hassle.
When you purchase products from Personal Digital or register with us, you have the option of receiving e-mails regarding updates about special offers, new products and any significant upgrades from Personal Digital.
We are also bound to cooperate fully should a situation arise where we are required by law or legal process to provide information about a customer. |
