Overview of Samsung S8300 Tocco Ultra

The Samsung S8300 Tocco Ultra is an 8 Megapixel, touchscreen phone with a slide-out numeric keypad and HSDPA connectivity. It shares the name ’Tocco’ with the Samsung F480, although the two handsets are very different. The ’stretched-slider’ design of the Sasung S8300 gives it a distinctive look, with a wealth of features underneath making it a strong competitor in the 8 Megapixel Camera and Touchscreen markets.

Take high quality photographs with the 8 mega-pixel camera; smile shutter, WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), power LED and a host of other features let you take perfect shots every time. on-board AGPS technology even lets you geo-tag your photos to letting you see when and where your photographs were taken. Capture stunning video clips as well as photographs, high resolution VGA video recording lets you capture DVD quality video clips at a smooth 30fps. Slow motion video support lets you record fast moving objects at 120fps for playback in slow motion.

The Samsung S8300 Tocco Ultra runs on the latest version of the Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz user interface. It includes a number of improvements over the previous edition including new widgets, three homescreens and an improved image gallery. The combination of  a stunning AMOLED display with an anti-smudge, scratch resistant coating makes the TouchWiz interface clearer than ever to use.  

The Samsung S8300 Tocco Ultra has an inbuilt memory of 80MB, with the option of up to 16GB expansion via the MicroSD slot. The device also offers Bluetooth V2 and USB 2.0 connectivity, as well as HSDPA support and quad-band coverage.
